General Park Rules

CHAIRS AND SEATING

Sitting or standing on fences or railings, or standing on chairs, benches or seat walls is not allowed. Chairs and tables may be moved around the Park.

EVENTS

You are welcome to book your special event or party of 20 or more people with Levy Park Conservancy at 713.522.7275.

GARDENS AND LANDSCAPE

Do not pick anything from the Levy Park Garden. Do not dump ice or any other material in the flowerbeds or plantings. Enjoy open areas, lawns, and the Levy Park Garden without entering flowerbeds or plantings.

DOGS

By city ordinance, you must clean up after your pet. Keep pets out of flowerbeds, do not let them do the watering. Dogs are allowed off leash only in the small and large Dog Parks.

SPORTS

Organized team sports, cycling, skating, rollerblading, skateboarding, and using a scooter for recreation are not permitted in the Park.

WASTE

Rummaging in trash is prohibited. Place all recyclables and waste in appropriate receptacles. Please keep our Park clean.

WATER FEATURE

Climbing on or drinking from the water feature is prohibited. Dogs are not allowed in the water feature. Food and snacks are also prohibited near the water feature. Children under 2 must wear a swim diaper. Do not allow sick children to use the water feature. Clothing, swim diapers, or bathing suits are required in the water feature.

THE FOLLOWING ARE PROHIBITED:

• Soliciting
• Commercial activity
• Excessive noise, amplified sound or playing of musical instruments
• Camping
• Open flames, grilling or cooking
• Outside furniture
• Erecting tents or other structures
• Driving poles, stakes or flags into the ground
• Plastic tarps on the lawn
• Attaching or affixing items to Park signs, trees, plantings, fences or structures
• Balloons, pinatas, bounce houses, confetti, silly string
• Kites and drones
• Obstructing park entrances
• Drug use
• Glass containers
• Outside alcohol
• Smoking
• Panhandling
• Feeding birds, squirrels, or other wildlife
• Recreational motorized vehicles
