Activity Lawn
Levy Park’s 22,000 square foot Activity Lawn is devoted to an unlimited range of activities. Start a game of tag, throw around a frisbee, or have a picnic.
Tree Oak Canopy & Overlook
Nestled among the trees in the Children’s Park is Levy Park’s Overlook, a colorful boardwalk structure that winds gradually up into the live oak canopy. The walk among the trees affords stunning views of the park and its horticulture.
Pavilion
Offering shade and a home for events and programs, the pavilion is the centerpiece of the park. This beautifully designed, unique structure features an arching roofline, skylights and beautiful up-lighting.
East Plaza
The east plaza features a variety of seating offerings, festoon lighting, several large umbrellas for shade, newly planted oak trees, and seasonal plantings. Conveniently located next to Hearsay and the event lawn, this 3,500+ square foot area can accommodate tenting up to 40'x40' and is perfect for events.

Children's Park
Located in the heart of the park, the Children’s Park is devoted to kids, families and play. The space includes non-traditional play features, a climbing wall and seven-foot-wide slide, the Cosmo climbing sphere, lighted tunnels, dance chimes, a three-tiered water feature, play berms, and Children’s Pavilion complete with seating.
Rain Garden
Nourished by rain water, the Levy Park Rain Garden features native shrubs and flowers. This lush environment is a great backdrop for relaxation, yoga, reading or a stroll along the boardwalk.
Event Lawn
Surrounded by beautiful live oak trees and groves, the Event Lawn is a fantastic place to picnic, play, take in an event, or gather with family and friends. Also available for rental, the Levy Park Event Lawn is a setting for making memories.
Dog Park
The dog park, with sections devoted to large and small dogs, includes turf-covered mounds for play, trees for shade, a water feature, and a double-gated safety entrance.
Gaspachos Mexican Bites
Sundays – Thursdays: 10am to 10pm
Friday – Saturday: 8am to 12am
Happy Hour: Monday – Friday 3pm to 6pm
A fast-casual, authentic Mexican food experience, Gaspachos Mexican Bites features fresh, natural, healthy, and delicious breakfast, lunch, happy hour, dinner, and to-go offerings.
Enjoy convenient counter service and easy to eat, handheld food like tortas, flautas, hot dogs, and tacos as well as treats for your four-legged friends. Eye popping and delicious park snacks featured on Gaspachos Fruits and Cravings Food Truck are available, like Mangonadas, natural fruits, ice cones, Mexican elotes, and more. Quench your thirst with a diverse beverage menu for guests of all ages including adult beverages such as “Not Your Basic” Micheladas, frozen margaritas, and aguas frescas and raspas with rum and tequila.
The menu, full of heavenly flavors, is incredibly craveable and Instagramable.

Kind Ice Cream Truck
Family-owned and made from scratch right here in Houston. Stop by the truck for handcrafted scoops, sorbets, and frozen yogurts, including dairy-free and gluten-free options.
Parking
Parking is available adjacent to the park and along Eastside Street and Wakeforest Avenue. Additional public parking (parking rate applies) is available in the Kirby Grove parking garage located on the corner of Richmond and Wakeforest.
