Young Audiences of Houston offers family friendly, live art experiences perfect for a wide variety of ages. These interactive workshops and performances last between 60 and 90 minutes and involve YAH artists and ensembles, crossing genres of dance, visual arts, theater, music, and literary arts.

September 7: Art that Feels with Paige Hudson

Explore the emotion behind colors and meditative movement of a paint brush. Often times it is easy for us to be overstimulated by everything going on around us. Art can be a way to ground and regroup. This workshop engages participants socially and emotionally, as well as learning how to calm themselves in the moment.

September 21: Creative Theatre Workshop with Brave Little Company

Students’ stories move center stage in our creative theatre classes. Creative Theatre develops students’ skills as actors through focused warm-ups, improvisation and voice projection.
