Free Watch Party: France vs Morocco

1:30 pm

The group stage drama is behind us — now it’s pure knockout soccer. Eight teams left standing, and tonight France and Morocco go to war for a spot in the semifinals. Come feel the electricity. Kickoff is at 3:00 p.m. Admission is free!

Food and Beverage Concessions: Visit Franky’s for a gourmet hot dog or sausage, and cool down with Frios Gourmet Pops. Non-alcoholic drinks from Coca-Cola as well as pre-packaged snacks can be purchased at the Community Partner Concessions Booth, proceeds benefiting Levy Park and the event’s community partners. You can also stop by the park’s full-time concessionaires: Kind Ice Cream, Hearsay, and Gaspachos.

Community Partner: Magnificat Housing, Inc. (MHI) is a welcoming community where those needing housing, food, and mental health programs can stabilize and grow in productivity and independence. MHI includes extensive support services for the unhoused and low-income community, shelters from emergency short-term to long-term, and our behavioral mental health day program at St. Joseph’s Clubhouse. It’s a psychosocial peer-based community, where members living with persistent mental health conditions can access evidence-based recovery services, peer support, and meaningful work opportunities.

Activities: Get into the tournament spirit with face and body art from Butterfly Faces, try your hand at our bubble stations, and enjoy coloring pages from featured teams.

Merchandise: Event merchandise celebrating Houston, Levy Park, and the global soccer tournament will also be available for purchase.

Art Installations and Photo Opportunities: Commemorate the experience with a photo tour of the park, including life-sized soccer-themed photo backdrops and a tournament bracket. Visit our soccer ball music box and turn the crank for festive sounds.
